Charles Tan, President

Charles was saved in 1967, and was involved in pioneering church works in Malaysia and Singapore until his enlistment into National Service. He received God’s call to enter ministry during his second year in law school. He then went to Singapore Bible College, and since his graduation in 1981 served as a senior pastor for 25 years in the Assemblies of God before joining the pastoral staff of Hinghwa Methodist Church from 2006 until the present. Charles is married for over 40 years to Deborah. They have two married children and four grandchildren.


Abraham Sim, Vice-President

Abraham Sim has been serving in CRMS since 2006. He worships and serves in World Revival Prayer Fellowship. He loves the journey that God has given to each of his children believing that each journey is unique and called according to His purpose. He is a student of leadership and mentoring and loves to walk with fellow believers along this journey through the facilitation offered in CRMS.


Joshua Shoo, Secretary

Joshua Shoo considers God’s saving grace in his life as his greatest motivation for making Him and His remarkable purposes known to all people. Scientist and civil-servant turned pastor of ACTS Baptist Church, Joshua enjoys applying intellect to faith and experiencing God amidst nature. He is married to fellow ‘PK’ (pastor’s kid) and tender-hearted daughter-in-Christ, May.

Shoo How Beng has been serving in ACTS Baptist Church for over three decades. He seeks to please God above man in the teaching and application of the Word. He began serving with CRMS as a facilitator and coach since 2001 and continues his ministry there in mentoring Christian leaders, pre-believers and people of the market place.

Nicholas Ng

Nicholas Ng, Committee Member

Nicholas Ng worships at New Horizon Church. A Christian for more than 25 years, he served as a youth advisor and has been serving in the children’s ministry for many years. He firmly believes that mentoring & coaching is very important to advancing the kingdom of God. At work, he has been managing information-communication and technology systems in SPS for many years.


Andy Lim, Committee Member

Andy was a pastor for 22 years with the Salvation Army, and has been a full-time staff mentoring younger leaders and serving under CRMS since 2007. He is married to Serene and they help to lead The Going Church. His two children are young adults now. He is passionate about leadership development, sports ministry and his family, all for the glory of God.

WuShenKong1Wu Shen Kong, Committee Member

Wu Shen Kong joined CRMS as a facilitator and coach in 2005. His passion is to use mentoring, peer mentoring and facilitation processes to help others to strengthen their relationship with God. Through the ministry, he finds himself a major beneficiary of these processes. He worships in St John’s-St Margaret’s Church.

John Lim, Committee Member

John is an executive/leadership coach and coach trainer (ICF ACTA, PCC). His passion is to empower leaders to reach their maximum potential and live a purposeful life from inside-out. With 30 years’ corporate experience under his belt, John has served with Leadership Development International Training (LDiT) as Director of Coaching Services in China. He is effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, and an experienced team facilitator, corporate trainer, curriculum developer and adventure education specialist. As Navigator alumni, John and his wife Song Kheng also coach missionaries, spiritual leaders and Business-As-Mission (BAM) leaders.

Lin HuiHui, Committee Member

HuiHui joined CRMS’ Focusing Leaders Network in 2016 to discover God’s calling in her life. She was so blessed by it, she later joined CRMS’ facilitators training to help others through the process. She is passionate about helping others discover their God-given calling, and knowing God more through His Word. She is currently serving in Youth With A Mission, Singapore.

James Creasman – Advisor, Former President & Founder James is a Los Angeles native, who sensed God’s call into vocational ministry while serving in Asia with Campus Crusade for Christ after university. Following seminary, he pastored in LA for thirteen years before joining NOVO and moving with his family to China, in preparation for ministry in Singapore. For his first few years in Singapore, he ministered as a China Ministry Consultant with SCGM (then called SCEM). He started his first Focusing Leaders mentoring network with six senior pastors from the IDMC conference, and founded CRMS to grow a mentoring movement. His passion is to build spiritual leaders who will unleash their people for world evangelization. He also loves creating communities for learning and collaboration. He loves his creative wife, K!Mberly, and is proud of his two heroic and godly boys, Tyler and Cameron. They were part of the church plant at Redemption Hill church until their recent move to Nusajaya, Johor.

Bishop Moses Tay – Former President and Vice President was born into a devout Christian family in Malaysia. After completing his medical studies in Singapore, he returned to serve in Malaysia. In 1970, he moved to work in the Ministry of Health in Singapore. At the same time, he did his theological studies as an external student with the University of London. He went on to specialise in Internal Medicine but soon moved to hospital administration. He was ordained as non-stipendiary priest in 1978. Moses was the Director of Tan Tock Seng Hospital when he was elected and appointed as the Bishop of Singapore. He served as the 7th Bishop of Singapore (1982-2000) and also the 1st Archbishop of the Province of South East Asia (1996-2000). Now in his retirement, he continues to be actively involved in mentoring, missions and ministry in the church in Singapore and beyond. He and his wife Cynthia, as well as his children and grandchildren, live in Singapore. In 2009, he released his self-authored biography Born for Blessings: An Autobiography of Moses Tay. Bishop served the CRMS ExCo 2003-2013.

Eric Chua has been pastor at Bukit Batok Presbyterian Church and has a passion for character formation and church planting. An avid reader and an aggressive learner! ExCo member 2005-2013.

Koh Seng Chor hails from Bethesda Frankel as a teacher of the Word. He is also helping out in the men’s ministry in Evangel Christian Church. A retired professional trainer, he has a heart for discipleship. Exco member 2007-2013 serving as Treasurer and Secretary.

David Tang worships at the Community of Praise Baptist Church. He has seen the power of personal and peer-mentoring. As a business owner, he is involved in many civic groups and desires to see marketplace Christians use their gifts and businesses for God’s glory. ExCo member 2003-2013.

Patrick Chan  joined CRMS as a facilitator and coach in 2008. His passion is to help individuals to create coaching moments for spiritual growth. A lecturer and consultant as profession, through his market place ministry, he engages actively in both local and overseas coaching assignments. He worships at Adam Road Presbyterian Church (ARPC). ExCo Treasurer 2014-2015.

Jennifer Goh has been facilitating Focused Living small groups as well as Focusing Leaders Networks since 2009. Besides being very passionate in serving the community, she has also discipled and mentored many members under her leadership in her church. She worships at Faith Community Baptist Church and has been serving as a lay leader for the past 20 years. ExCo secretary 2014-2015.

Other Ex-officio Members:

Edmund Chan served as an Advisor to CRMS from the start, as senior pastor of Covenant Evangelical Free Church. He is widely recognized as a gifted expositor of the Word, and is also considered to be an insightful Bible expositor. He graduated summa cum laude from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with an MA (Missions). In 1995, he launched the annual Intentional Disciplemaking Church (IDMC) Conferences, and in 2013 began the Global Discipleship Congress (GDC) in Manila. He has authored several books entitled Growing Deep With God: Integrating Theology and PrayerBuilt To Last: Towards A Disciplemaking ChurchMentoring Paradigms and  his most recent work being Growing Deep In Faith. He is married to Ann and has two daughters, Amanda and Belicia.
